Parrot

Parrot, is a member of the class aves (bird). They make up the member of Psittaciformes. They have as many as 372 species. They are recognized by their hook-like bill (beak), Zygodactyl feet (that mean 2 front fingers and 2 back fingers) which are used to grab and climb in the tree. Most of them are typical of colorful bird. They make nest by hollowing tree. Most of them are herbivore (frugivore, granivore, or even nectarine) but some species such as kea are omnivorous. They are classified into three super families (Psittacoidea, true parrots; Cacatuoidea, The Cacatuas; and Strigopoidea, New Zealand parrots). They are also amongst the smartest bird in the world, such as the African grey parrot.
