Animal Profile

Haha, yes it is. A profile about animal :)

Psittacula alexandri, or the red breasted parakeet , is one of the member of Asian parakeet (genus Psittacula). It is spreading through south east Asia. Its conservation status is LC. They are green parakeet with pinkish/salmon plumage on their breast. Their head is grey with a dark blue (near black) patch, a mustache-like strip, and their beak is orange (black lower beak, or black beak on some female sub-species). The grey and pink plumage absent in the Juvenile. They are a middle sized parakeet (33 cm to 38 cm). They feed most on seeds (such as rice, corn, peas, canary seed, etc) and also fruits. Some have been reported consuming a small amount of insects. As a pet, they are a feisty and outgoing, love to be outdoor, and also smart. Just like other parrots, they need chewing toy to keep them entertained.
